We are looking for people in Flintshire and Wrexham to give up as little as an hour a week of their time to volunteer with Age Concern.
We offer two supported information and advice projects that will visit older people at home.
We need your help to provide the vital information, advice and services for older people. Show your support by donating to us.
Age Concern North East Wales does the vast majority of its work out in the communities of Flintshire and Wrexham. We support older people to live independently in their own homes for as long as they choose to do so.
We want them to have real choices over their own lives and feel safe, secure and be well informed when making any choices. Some of the projects that help to do this are called Wellcheck in Flintshire and Options in Wrexham.

Everyone should be able to enjoy their older age. Age Concern North East Wales wants to see people in Flintshire and Wrexham doing just that.

Working in partnership with a range of organisations across the area, we try to develop new, responsive services that older people have told us they need.

Advocacy can help you. It is a way of helping you have your say when decisions that affect you are being taken by the ‘powers that be’. Our advocate can help you to secure your rights, can represent your interests and help you to obtain the services you need.
The Food Solutions Project is run by Age Concern North East Wales and is available to anyone aged over 50 and living in Flintshire.
